Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi gets new executive sous chef

ABU DHABI, February 22, 2017

Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi has appointed Jordan Annabi as its new executive sous chef.

In his new role, Annabi will oversee all culinary aspects of Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi, from room service and catering to operations at its restaurants and bars and food amenities for guests.

Prior to his new position, the 30-year-old Scottish national was serving as chef de cuisine in a contemporary steakhouse in the capital.

Annabi is no stranger to Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi; he served as chef de cuisine for Market Kitchen, the modern American restaurant with a local influence inspired by Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

The restaurant has won a lot of accolades under his guidance including:
• Highly Commended – Restaurant - Timeout Abu Dhabi Restaurant Awards 2015
• Best Business Lunch - What's on Restaurant Awards 2015
• Best International Restaurant - FACT Abu Dhabi Dining Awards 2015

Prior to this, Annabi worked as the head chef - 3 Rosettes in Airds Hotel; head chef - 3 Rosettes in Costley & Costley and sous chef - 1 Michelin Star, 3 Rosettes in Roussillon.
