Pullman Dubai Jumeriah Lakes Towers expands executive team

DUBAI, February 14, 2017

Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Towers has welcomed two new members to its executive team.

Ruby Pande has joined Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Towers as executive housekeeper following her role as director of housekeeping at one of the leading International hotel chains in Dubai. Holding a Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management from IHM Mumbai, Pande has more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry managing a housekeeping department at luxury hotels in several destinations across Asia.

Commenting on the appointment, Pande said: “I am looking forward to applying my years of experience to my new role at Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Towers and ensuring the smooth running of the housekeeping department at the property which has 354 rooms and apartments.”

With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Turkish national Levent Karahan joins Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Towers as executive chef following his previous role of executive chef at one of the Accorhotels managed hotels - Marjan Islands Resort & Spa, where he was in charge of eight food and beverage outlets and 77 team members.

With a background in luxury hotels, Karahan graduated from the Tekirdag Anatolian Professional School of Hotels in 1995 after studying Management and Tourism. Karahan has won many awards throughout his career including the ‘Best Nationality Main Course in Europe’ in 1999. His previous roles include executive chef at one of the most luxurious resort hotels in Turkey and demi chef de partie at one of Europe’s largest hotel and conference centres.

Karahan said: “With five food and beverage destinations within the five-star hotel and a range of cuisine available from Italian specialties and theme nights to light bites by the pool – I am really looking to offer a variety which will consistently meet our guests’ culinary requirements but also offer a ‘Pullman Dubai Jumeriah Lakes Towers’ twist.”

General manager of Pullman Dubai Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Fadeel Wehbe, said: “As we start 2017, we are delighted to announce two excellent additions to our executive team who will oversee two integral departments within our property; culinary and housekeeping.
