Bahrain International Airport is among the most punctual airports in the world, said a report.

The report by UK aviation analysts OAG named Bahrain International Airport as the ninth most punctual airport in the world, with 85 per cent of its flights arriving or departing on time, reported BNA.

No other country from the GCC region or any Arab airport featured in the top ten list, it stated.

The OAG report was based on 54 million flight data from 2016. Birmingham Airport topped the ranking, followed by Osaka (Japan) and Panama City airports.
