Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Jumeirah Beach Residence has announced the appointment of Samer Rafie as its new hotel manager.

An Egyptian national, Rafie has more than two decades of hospitality experience within the GCC region, having worked in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain.

Prior to joining Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, he was with Fraser Suites Dubai for seven years, where he served as operations manager and was later promoted as executive assistant manager. He was also affiliated with various hotels in the emirate including City Seasons Dubai, Chelsea Tower Hotel Apartment, and Jood Palace Hotel Dubai.

In his new role, Samer Rafie will be in charge of the hotel’s daily operations. He will lead all departments in achieving high customer satisfaction ratings, and direct the hotel’s strategies to maintain healthy occupancy and revenue.  

Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham JBR’s current general manager Samir Arora will take on a new role as the general manager of R Hotels’ new 254-key hotel and resort in Palm Jumeirah. – TradeArabia News Service
