Tamani wins Sheikh Khalifa Award for Excellence

DUBAI, January 1, 2017

UAE-based Tamani Hotel won the silver category of Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award in tourism sector for its distinctive hotel services.

The award was presented by Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, at a ceremony held at Emirates Palace Hotel to Walid Al-Awa, general manager of Tamani Hotel.

"Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award in tourism sector adds further responsibility, as we have to maintain our excellence of our services over par, doubling and upgrading our efforts in providing the finest hotel services, as well as we are proud that Tamani has been the only hotel chosen for this award from the United Arab Emirates,” Al-Awa said.

Al-Awa appreciated the role of the award in spreading culture of quality and excellence in economic, educational and health sectors in addition to growth and development of institutional performance through excellence in service and standards of performance.

He pointed out that Tamani, which won several international awards always understood this as the beginning of the road towards greater achievements based on providing best hotel services consistent with high reputation achieved by United Arab Emirates and translates its visions in enhancing its international outstanding.

Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ADCCI) launched Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) back in 1999 as a blue print, a roadmap and a methodology for continuous improvement aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the Business Sector in Abu Dhabi and the UAE. – TradeArabia News Service
