Egyptair to launch direct flights from Fujairah to Cairo

Fujairah International Airport has announced plans to launch two direct flights per week to Egyptian capital Cairo from its hub in the northern emirate starting from July.
This comes following a co-operation agreement between Fujairah Airport administration and Egyptair, the country's flag carrier. The flights will operate on Sundays and Thursdays.
Captain Ismail Al Balushi, Director General of Fujairah International Airport, said this step comes within the framework of enhancing travel options to and from Fujairah, and to meet the growing demand for travel locally and regionally.
"We are working to provide a comfortable travel experience according to quick clearance procedures that ensure enhancing the travel experience to and from the emirate," he added.
Last July, Fujairah Airport had announced that it would connect Fujairah to 18 new destinations, in cooperation with Oman's SalamAir.-TradeArabia News Service
