MANAMA, December 15, 2016

City Centre Bahrain—the largest shopping, leisure and entertainment destination in Bahrain—brings back its third ‘Winter Tales’ immersive experience, with the timeless ‘Alice in Wonderland’ tale.

Following the success of ‘The Nutcracker’ and ‘Cinderella’, City Centre Bahrain launched its third seasonal Winter Tale campaign: ‘Alice in Wonderland’, last week. It will run till January 10, 2017.

Visitors can enter this festive season’s Winter Tale area and walk through the wonderous Alice in Wonderland tale and experience their favorite characters coming to life in moving animatronic technology. They can also enjoy exciting photo opportunities for the entire family, and get a chance to pick a leaf from the ’Tree of Luck’ to win instant prizes.

Alice and her fun companions such as the Rabbit, the Caterpillar, the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts will be roaming around the mall, creating great memorable moments and will be showcasing a ‘meet and greet’ session for visitors, from December 20 to 23, 2016.

“In-line with Majid Al Futtaim’s vision to create great moments for everyone, everyday, and following the success of previous Winter Tales editions, City Centre Bahrain is bringing the timeless ‘Alice in Wonderland’ tale aiming to dazzle visitors of all ages. The mall will be offering a festive ambience throughout the holidays, captivating families, children and friends with exciting prizes to win, themed activities and entertainment, underscoring City Centre Bahrain’s leadership in the retail sector,” said Duaij Khalifa Al Rumaihi, senior mall manager for City Centre Bahrain.

Visitors spending BD30 or more in shopping, dining, or entertainment at City Centre Bahrain, will get a chance to win an array of exciting prizes including BD25,000 ($65,827) worth of mall gift cards, as well many other prizes from participating retailers. Those who spend BD50 will instantly receive an exclusive Kids Art Kit.

To mark the holiday season, in partnership with Westin Hotel, City Centre Bahrain will also create the longest trail of cookies at the mall. Visitors will be able to decorate and personalise the cookies as well as give back in a delicious way, as the proceeds will go to Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioral and Communication Difficulties charity, on December 14 and 15, 2017. - TradeArabia News Service
