Oman approves 33 new sites for tourism projects

MUSCAT, November 28, 2016

Oman is focusing on enhancing its tourism sector with new projects in the pipeline as 33 sites have been approved by the sultanate's Ministry of Housing, in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism, for new developments that will boost visitor numbers, said a report.

According to a report in Oman Daily Observer, the agreements have been signed for beach services projects, restaurant complex, hotels and resorts and tourism camps.

Governates that will see new projects include Bausher, Seeb, Mubealah, Al Amirat, Al Khoudh, Salalah and other areas.
