Retaj Hotels & Hospitality, a leading property development company in Qatar, has inked a management agreement for a new five-star luxury resort near Aqua Park Qatar on Salwa Road, said a report.

Nesf bin Mohamed al-Boenein, member of the board of directors at Retaj Group; Abdulla Hassan al-Ghanim, CEO of Hala Group Enterprises; and Jerome Phelipeau, chairman of Vichy Company France signed the contract for Vichy Célestins Spa Hotel by Retaj, said a report in Gulf Times.

Bringing a blend of hospitality and medical spa concept, the property will feature 78 standard guestrooms and suites and 90 villas, ranging from one to three-bedrooms, as well as three restaurants, two cafes, a 3,500-sq-m medical spa specialised in weight-loss programmes, prevention of diabetes, metabolism and anti-ageing treatments.

The resort will also offer a meeting area, a business centre, jewellery shops, a hairdresser, a fitness centre, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, and other amenities.

The project is expected to be completed by mid-2017, according to officials.
