Qatar's Al Rayyan Hospitality (ARH) showcased a collection of its luxury properties in Qatar and the UK - including Souq Waqif Hotels in Doha, Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara and Adria Hotel in London - at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) show held recently in Dubai, UAE.
One of the most important annual tourism events in the Middle East, ATM was held from April 25 to 28 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
The expo offered Al Rayyan Hospitality one of the best opportunities to showcase their unique projects.
It also provided the company with a dedicated platform to establish new relationships across the region with industry partners and help promote Qatar’s ambitious development plans within the travel and tourism industries.
In particular, ARH highlighted the salient features of the resort that have made it the preferred destination for families across the region in a very short span of time.
Spanning more than 342 sq m for both male and female sections, this health and wellness destination offers guests a collection of unique treatments and personalised services.
"Balance is a first-of-its-kind, fully-dedicated destination Wellness Centre in the Middle East" said Thomas Fehlbier, the general manager, Banana Island Resort by Anantara.
"The focus of health and wellness programmes is on balancing as well as rejuvenating the mind, body and spirit. The programmes are customised for each individual’s lifestyle improvement with the aim to help achieve the personal goals for relaxation and physical improvement," he noted.
The ultra-luxurious Banana Island Resort Doha is an idyllic 32-acre holiday retreat with over-water villas, offering surf, sand and serenity. This five-star vacation destination offers a tailored holistic approach to health and well-being to revive its guests with treatment rooms, gyms, hydro pool, botanical garden, and yoga areas.
From bowling alley and putting green to a reef conservation centre, it will offer every conceivable recreational and family entertainment facility that one would expect of a world class resort.
Further, ARH exhibited nine exquisitely designed Souq Waqif Hotels, nestled in the bustling traditional market in Doha.
The group also showcased the 19th century Victorian townhouse, Adria Hotel in South Kensington, London, which was restored recently and offers round the clock butler service for the sophisticated traveller.
"Participating in ATM 2016 presented us with an opportunity to showcase our unique and distinctive luxury resorts to delight visitors who want to experience something new and different," remarked Amir Golbarg, the new director of Operations for ARH.
"These impressive resorts are contemporary, innovative & engaging and aim to encourage visitors to relax as well as enjoy all the activities & features on offer in their stunning locations and luxurious surroundings. They will mark an important new milestone draw for visitors to the country," he explained.
“Being part of this leading event also helped ARH support tourism in Qatar by developing unique touristic destinations,” said Golbarg.
ARH said it is also developing the Al Messila Resort & Spa in a prime location in central Doha situated within a lushly landscaped 33 acre site.
