Millennium & Copthorne, Middle East and Africa (MEA) has welcomed Sherif Ezzat as the general manager of Millennium Hotel Hail in north-western Saudi Arabia.

In his new role, Ezzat will be responsible for overseeing the successful launch and ongoing operations of the only five-star hotel in the city.

As an experienced hotelier, Ezzat makes the move to the newly opened Millennium Hail Hotel from the group’s properties in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. In his career Ezzat has accumulated a wealth of experience and a solid understanding of the group, having worked at a number of its hotels across the region. Combining focused leadership with a passion for excellence and a strong understanding of the local market, he is responsible for the overall operating performance of Millennium Hotel Hail.

Ezzat began his career with Millennium & Copthorne MEA in 2003 as rooms division manager at Millennium Hotel Abu Dhabi before progressing his career at Millennium properties in Sharjah and Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining Millennium & Copthorne, he gained valuable experience in various roles at the InterContinental Hotel Group in Cairo, Egypt before moving to Dubai for the pre-opening of Hilton Dubai Creek.
