Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche offers new Friday brunch

ABU DHABI, April 3, 2016

The new executive chef of Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche, Kim Gates, has introduced a new Friday Brunch concept at Grills@Chill’O restaurant and lounge.

Served at the poolside, the brunch highlights the talent of the culinary brigade at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche, which comprises 52 chefs from 15 countries.

Talking about future plans, Gates said: “Since I have joined Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche, the team and I have improved the restaurant menus, by introducing unique and refreshing concepts which complements the spring season.”

Kim is a seasonal Sofitel Ambassador. Prior to joining Sofitel in Abu Dhabi, he was part of the pre-opening team of the award-winning Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa resort, bringing more than 30 years of experience with international hotel chains and restaurants. His career has seen him take up positions at leading hotels across Australia, UAE (Dubai), Russia (Sochi & Moscow), Republic of Vanuatu, Maldives and Bahrain.

Gates graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Science (BS), is a HSC Major from Armadale SHS, and is HACCP Certified from The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. - TradeArabia News Service
