Abu Dhabi Airport welcomes new Costa Coffee outlet

ABU DHABI, March 1, 2016

Abu Dhabi International Airport and Costa Coffee hosted a ceremony to inaugurate the global coffee chain’s 134th store in the UAE.

Open at Terminal 3, the UK-based coffeehouse is the latest commercial food and beverage offering at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Daniel Cappell, Abu Dhabi Airports acting chief commercial officer, joined Costa Coffee UAE’s general manager, Eric Hughes, and chief operating officer, Kevin Zajax alongside airport staff, to officially open the store.

“We are delighted to welcome Costa Coffee and its irresistible offerings to Abu Dhabi International Airport. The addition of Costa to our portfolio reflects our commitment to passengers who share our passion for a quality cup of coffee,” said Cappell.

Costa was founded in London by Italian brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa in 1971 and now represents the second largest international coffee shop operator. At present the company has more than 3,000 stores across UK, Europe, Middle East, India and Asia. - TradeArabia News Service
