Gulf Air flights to and from Chennai were cancelled yesterday (December 2) and will be again today as heavy rain and adverse weather conditions forced the closure of the international airport in the southern Indian city.

All operations were put on hold at the airport as heavy rain pounded the city yesterday severely disrupting flights and train and bus services, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
