Bahrain travellers ‘defy attack fears’

MANAMA, November 22, 2015

Deadly terror bombings and threats of “imminent attacks” in European cities have not deterred travellers from Bahrain, a report said.

Travel agents in the country said they have not received any requests for cancellations or postponements since 130 people were killed in the Paris attacks on November 13.

Bahrain Travel and Tour Agents Association board chairman Sufyan Al Moayyed told the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication, that holiday plans have not been affected to destinations such as Paris or Sharm Al Sheikh, where a bomb brought down a passenger jet over Sinai last month killing all 224 people on board.
