Female Gulf Air crew create new milestone

An all-female crew flew a Gulf Air flight from Bahrain to Pakistan last week, in what is believed to be a first for the airline. The pilot on October 22’s Flight GF752 from Bahrain to Karachi was Vanessa Umba, who previously made history by being the airline’s first female captain, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
