Jannah staff receive the certificate

Jannah Burj Al Sarab wins Chinese certificate

ABU DHABI, September 1, 2015

Jannah Burj Al Sarab, a five-star luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi, UAE, was recently presented the Golden ‘Welcome Chinese’ certification issued by China Tourism Academy (CTA).

The certification attests the hotel’s compliance to the highest standard of hotel requirements defined by the CTA’s catering to the growing demand of the Chinese travellers.

Welcome Chinese is an innovative standard of services specifically crafted to make Chinese travellers feel at home around the world. To qualify for a Gold certification, a property must provide dedicated Mandarin-speaking staff, broadcast Chinese channels, offer a traditional Chinese breakfast with tea-making facilities, as well as a ‘Welcome Chinese’ kit in every room.

Richard Haddad, vice president of Jannah Hotels & Resorts Abu Dhabi, said: “The Gold Certification represents the hotel’s significant efforts to create tailored offerings for our Chinese guests. Working closely with the CTA and Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority, we have developed strong ties with the Chinese market since our opening.”

The multi-level service standard covers all of the services necessary to improve the experience of the Chinese travellers, Haddad noted. “Through this certificate we shall continue to improve such service with higher expectations to drive first class Chinese tourists to the Jannah brand in the UAE,” he said. – TradeArabia News Service
