RJ marks 40 years of Amman-Amsterdam operations
AMMAN, April 24, 2015
Royal Jordanian has marked 40 years of operation between Amman and Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.
The airline operates four flights weekly to this European city, using the Airbus 320 family, said a statement.
In co-operation with Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, passengers of Flight 152 to Amman were treated to prizes to celebrate the event.
At the check-in counters, travellers were welcomed with Jordanian sweets and invited to participate in a lucky draw.
Aside from winning a variety of presents, everyone was offered a solar charger for their smartphones or tablets, a present attesting to Royal Jordanian’s endeavour to go green.
In addition to the travellers who fly aboard RJ planes between these two cities for various purposes, including tourism, education and business, Royal Jordanian flies passengers to Amman and onwards to other destinations on its network, like Aqaba, Baghdad, Erbil, Kuwait, Jeddah, Medina and Bangkok. - TradeArabia News Service
