QAIA... high passenger satifaction ratings

Qaia rises to 30th place among global airports

AMMAN, December 21, 2014

Jordan’s Queen Alia International Airport (Qaia) has risen six places from its 2014 second quarter ranking, coming in at 30th spot among 246 airports worldwide in the 2014 third quarter Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Survey.

Qaia has registered tangible improvements in its overall passenger satisfaction ratings, the survey revealed.

“This newest ranking is yet another proud accomplishment that could not have been achieved without Jordan’s safe environment and its citizens’ ongoing support of their prime airport. It also serves as testament to our ongoing efforts and unwavering commitment to continuously enhance service levels and facilities at Qaia,” said Kjeld Binger, CEO of Airport International Group (AIG) – the Jordanian company responsible for the rehabilitation, expansion and operation of Qaia.

“On this special occasion, I would like to thank all Qaia’s employees, partners and stakeholders for their invaluable support, which has been instrumental in helping us achieve this proud milestone. We eagerly look forward to what the final quarter of the year will result in, and are thrilled to see Qaia officially cemented among the world’s top 50 airports,” he said.

The ASQ Survey is one of the leading airport passenger satisfaction benchmark programmes, and covers over 250 airports in more than 50 countries, with over 400,000 passengers interviewed. It provides an authoritative and extensive analysis of airport service performance, and is trusted by over 250 airports around the globe and more than 60 per cent of the world’s 100 largest airports. – TradeArabia News Service
