Bahrain Airport Services names new chief

Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) has appointed Abdulla Abu Khamseen as the new chief executive with effect from October 1.
Abu Khamseen has more than 25 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry in the Middle East, having held various senior management roles, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
“Abu Khamseen will be an invaluable asset to the company, and we are confident that his efforts will propel BAS to the next level of success,” said BAS chairman Jalal Mohammed Jalal.
“His business acumen and extensive knowledge base will serve the future goals of the company quite well,” he added.
He is also the owner and managing director of Professional Management Consultancy Bureau in the Middle East.
Abu Khamseen is a member of the National Committee of Saudi Travel Agents, former member of the Advisory Committee of American Express Worldwide, and a member of the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce in Saudi Arabia. - TradeArabia News Service
