DOHA, November 1, 2014
Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels (SWBH), a luxury, five-star hotel collection owned and managed by Qatar-based Al Rayyan Hospitality, has launched a new dining package on its traditional dhow boats.
The guests can enjoy the finest dishes created by expert chefs on board the Lusail 2 and Lusail 3 against the backdrop of Doha City’s captivating skyline, said a statement from SWBH.
The sea trips include three exclusive Sanbouk sailboat packages especially tailored to special requests by guests for a romantic dinner for two, private celebrations or an exclusive one- or two-hour private cruise with family and friends to experience the immaculate sunset views out at sea.
“SWBH’s constantly upgraded services go far beyond our hotels, adding an exciting dimension to our guests’ experience based on their own preferences," remarked Taleb Al Henzab, the hotel general manager.
"Qatar is fortunate enough to be surrounded by sea on all three sides, which is why we can extend our age-old Arabic hospitality to visitors and share the beauty of our sea-faring nation with our guests," he added.
Al Henzab said the hotel offers a dhow dining programme that includes a five-star sea trip, three open buffets for guests to choose from before departure and an original Arabian lounging area to enjoy.
The sunset cruise takes to the sea from the sailboat marina on the Doha Corniche and features oriental sweets, fresh fruits, palm dates and light snacks with Arabian coffee, as well as fresh juices and light and hot drinks throughout the trip, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
