Citymax to open three hotels in UAE

Citymax Hotels, a UAE home-grown mid-market brand and part of the hospitality division of Landmark Group, has three hotels located in prime locations in Al Barsha, Bur Dubai, and Sharjah under development, all scheduled for completion by 2017.

All three new hotels will reflect similarities in exterior design with each also incorporating features such as a roof top pool, bar and sun deck.  Room interiors are currently under design and will all be an average of 25 sq m in size.

Citymax Hotels Al Barsha will open with a new tower by 2016.  Located close to the existing property it will feature 120 rooms with City Cafe – the all day dining restaurant concept for the group plus one additional Bar.  Integrated into the existing operation, guests staying at either hotel will be able to dine in the various outlets and charge it to their room.

The next to open will be Citymax Hotels Ras Al Khaimah, centrally located by the creek in the Al Nakheel area of the city.  Close to Manar Mall and 15 minutes from RAK Airport, the hotel will offer meeting rooms high quality restaurants, roof top swimming pool and exclusive beach access.

By 2017, the new property located in the rapidly developing Business Bay will open with a light, airy two-storey high atrium lobby, three restaurants and bars plus meeting rooms and extensive banqueting facilities.

Distinguished by its high quality restaurant outlets, Citymax Hotels will also be developing additional new concepts to appeal to the new millennial traveller as well as rolling out existing brands in the new properties.

As the largest of the three properties, Citymax Hotel Bur Dubai is located in the heart of Dubai’s historical district and offers 691 contemporary and comfortable rooms.

Situated next to the Mall of the Emirates, and close to the Dubai Metro, Dubai Media City and the beautiful Jumeirah Beach, Citymax Hotel Al Barsha attracts a mix of both business and leisure to its 376 rooms.

Located in close proximity to major shopping, industrial and cultural areas, Citymax Hotel Sharjah have 230 affordable rooms and spacious meeting rooms. The dining portfolio consists of City Cafe, the all day dining restaurant and Sizzling Wok, the Pan-Asian restaurant.
