Oman Air has announced that its flights to Karachi in Pakistan are now expected to operate as scheduled.

The announcement follows the earlier cancellation of flight WY 323 from Muscat to Karachi today June 9.

The flight was cancelled after the airport was attacked by militants lat night. Pakistan authorities have announced that the airport is now cleared of the militants.

"Oman Air regrets the inconvenience caused to its valued passengers by the earlier cancellation. The airline is closely monitoring events in Karachi and will update passengers if the situation changes," it said.
