Amadeus, a leading technology partner to the global travel industry, has signed a global distribution and full content agreement with RAK Airways.

Under the deal, RAK Airways can distribute its content to a wide-ranging network of travel agencies across the globe through the Amadeus global distribution system (GDS) and ensure full parity between content distributed on its direct channels and via the Amadeus GDS, said a statement.

Travel agents will be able to search, book and ticket RAK Airways flights directly from their Amadeus reservation application. Further, agents have access to the entire range of fares, schedules and inventory on Amadeus, besides other direct or indirect distribution channels used by RAK Airways.

Our agreement with RAK Airways reinforces our core objective to ensure that travel agencies connected to the Amadeus system are able to maintain their competitive edge with access to relevant content.”

With the current network of destinations, RAK Airways is an important player in terms of business, Umrah and blue-collared passengers, serving destinations in the GCC, Levant, North Africa, India and Pakistan.
