Egypt's Meditrade buys sunoil, soyoil

Egyptian commodity purchasing enterprise Meditrade has bought 34,000 tonnes of sunflower oil and 6,000 tonnes of soyoil, a trader said on Wednesday.     

Meditrade bought 20,000 tonnes of sunflower oil from Nidera at $1,197 per tonne and 14,000 tonnes of sunflower oil from Quadra at $1,196.50 per tonne, with both orders for delivery June 1 to 21, the trader said.     

He also said Meditrade bought 6,000 tonnes of soyoil from the National Vegetable Oil Company at 7,150 Egyptian pounds ($1,200) for delivery May 15-31. - Reuters
