Oman Air offers special fares to Khasab
Muscat, January 9, 2012
Oman Air will offer return flights with one month validity at a special rate of OR31 ($80.62) on flights from Muscat to Khasab, the Governorate of Musandam’s regional centre.
The offer started on January 7, a statement from the airline said.
The reduced fare comes as part of Oman Air’s commitment to meeting the needs of local communities, and will only be available for Omani nationals, the statement said.
In a move to reduce the number of unused bookings, minimise last-minute ticket changes and increase passenger choice, the airline has announced that it will charge a fee of OR10 ($26.01) for flight changes and refunds.
“Our aim is to encourage people to use their booked flights. Unused bookings block seats and reduce the range of choices available to other passengers. This has the potential to impact on choice and convenience for other customers and the new OR10 fee will help us to protect the interests of all of our passengers,” an official from Oman Air said. – TradeArabia News Service
