Sony unveils latest hospitality solutions

Japanese multinational conglomerate, Sony, held a seminar highlighting its latest hospitality solutions, including its range of Bravia hotel interactive televisions, with innovative integrated features including an LED clock and bathroom speaker connectivity.
The seminar which was held recently at Doha’s Four Season’s Hotel, in collaboration with the company’s exclusive distributor in Qatar, Darwish Technology, brought together key industry stakeholders including hoteliers, hotel chains, system integrators and consultants in Qatar, a statement from the company said.
It featured exclusive exhibits of Sony guest room solutions and Sony professional solutions, the statement said.
Anand Mathur, general manager, Sony Gulf, said: “We are delighted to introduce our line-up of the latest hospitality solutions to our business partners in Qatar. The comprehensive line-up from Sony, with its stylish design features, will be the pride of many design conscious hotel lobbies, guest rooms and business centres.”
The Bravia hotel interactive series has screen sizes ranging from 22-inch to 55-inch and includes the 2011 edition of Bravia LED TVs and 3D LED TVs.
Available in 32-inch, 40-inch and 46-inch screen sizes, the LED TV hospitality series has innovatively integrated features such as an LED clock and bathroom speaker connectivity, the statement said.
A highlight of the showcase event was the company’s 3D solutions packages, which feature 3D Bravia LED hotel TV series from 40-inch to 55-inch screen sizes, offering hotel guests a superior entertainment experience through extending their in-room entertainment options to include PlayStation 3 (PS3) and Sony 3D Blu-ray disc players, it said.
The seminar additionally offered a first-hand experience of the increased levels of comfort and entertainment provided by its guest room solutions, which include Sleek 2, a new life-style hi-fi multimedia system, bed-side iPod dock clock radios, media hubs for connectivity to devices and 10-inch digital photo frames.
