ExecuJet Middle East announced at the Dubai Airshow that it has won this year’s Bombardier Authorised Service Facility (ASF) Excellence Award in the International category.
Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services Berlin, in which ExecuJet Europe holds a 20 percent stake, has also scooped the European category, a statement from the company said.
The award which is based on a set of criteria including quality, compliance, customer influence and management and representative input, is awarded in five categories such as overall, North America, Europe, international and line maintenance.
“Winning this award confirms the superior quality we deliver at ExecuJet,” said Nick Weber, maintenance director, ExecuJet Middle East. “With our colleagues in Berlin winning in the European category, it is an excellent double achievement for ExecuJet maintenance worldwide.”
“Bombardier prides itself in offering the highest levels of service and support whether it is at our factory-owned centres, or through our relationships with other professional authorised facilities,” said Stan Younger, vice president, aircraft service centres, Bombardier Aerospace. “We congratulate ExecuJet on this achievement. They are valued members of our services network and their efforts in the region have greatly contributed to our customers’ successful and safe operations.”
The company’s maintenance facility in Dubai has tripled its capacity over the last year with the addition of a new hangar, and now employs a team of over 135 maintenance staff, the statement said.
