UAE-based Emirates Airlines has teamed up with MasterCard to offer passengers the chance to win back the cost of their flight, up to the value of $750.

The promotion is open to all MasterCard customers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar, who purchase their Emirates ticket online through emirates.com between October 16 and December 14. Travel must be completed by the March 31, 2012, according to a statement.

There will be a total of 180 winners during the course of the promotion, with three winners per day, winning up to $750 each, for a total of 60 days. The total prize pool for this promotion is $135,000, the statement said.

“We had an overwhelming response to our first Emirates and MasterCard prize draw, with over 50,000 people entering the competition. Prize draws such as this help us to generate positive awareness of our superior online booking system, which is one of the most practical and efficient ways for our customers to book their tickets,” said Reema Al Marzooq, manager, Emirates Bahrain.

In addition, MasterCard customers who book their ticket using their MasterCard Debit card will be given twice the chance to win, with a double entry submitted for each booking, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
