Manama, May 4, 2011

A new BD22 million ($58.3 million) four-star deluxe hotel will open in Juffair today.

An opening ceremony will be attended by Culture Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa among other officials at the K Hotel.

The 22-storey hotel is owned by Mokan and managed by the Gulf Hotels Group. It is a part of its exclusive collection properties in Bahrain and Africa.

Construction on the property began in 2007, with 237 rooms and suites offering services and amenities similar to five-star hotels on lower and affordable rates, said officials.

'Facilities also include five spacious meeting rooms and a boardroom as well as a contemporary business centre featuring the latest in modern technology,' said general manager Neman Abdallah.-TradeArabia News Service
