The Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park (LPOD) received two international awards in San Antonio, Texas, at the World Waterpark Association's 30th Anniversary Symposium and Trade show.

The '2010 Wave Review' competition saw LPOD win in the 'Print Media' and 'Outdoor Billboard' advertising categories, representing not only Bahrain but also the GCC as the only winner from the Middle East at the awards, said officials.

LPOD competed against over 275 water parks from all over the world, they added.

Marketing and public relations head Adam Page was asked by organisers to speak at the conference as a marketing specialist and guest panellist at the symposium.

'It's an honour to win these two awards and to be asked to speak at this global gathering of parks and leisure attractions,' he said.

'I think it shows Bahrain is a small place but it can make a big impact with the standard it sets and strives to achieve.-TradeArabia News Service
