Qatar Tourism to launch summer events

Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, which supervises tourism industry development in Qatar, will launch a series of events featuring cultural shows and leisure activities this summer in Doha.
The Entertainment Village will start on July 5 and will run until August 15 at the Doha Exhibitions Center.
In collaboration with Seqlia Organizing & Building Exhibitions & Conferences Company, artists from Europe, Asia and India will perform during numerous live shows, such as plays for kids, acrobatic shows, and magic acts.
Different rides for children from three to 14 years old will be organised, as well as extreme rides for youngsters. Additional attractions will include skills games, electronic games and other challenging yet fun activities, as well as restaurants, cafes commercial shops.
“The Entertainment Village will provide families, and most especially children in their summer holidays with a culture-rich, educational and fun-packed vacation,” Lahdan Al Mohannadi, head of organising local exhibitions.
“Qatar Tourism and Exhibitions Authority is promoting high-quality leisure and cultural events, to make the 2010 summer lively and unforgettable,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
