A group of 15 leading VIP tour operators from Russia visited Bahrain recently on a two-day familiarisation trip, as part of their tour of the Gulf.

The group was hosted by The Ritz Carlton Bahrain Hotel & Spa and the ground transportation was arranged by Sunshine Tours in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Information – Tourism Affairs.

During their stay they inspected some leading hotels and visited several places of interest.

The trip was organised by Ovchinnikova Liouvov, head of Middle East department of a leading VIP tour organiser in Russia. 

She was very impressed with the facilities offered in Bahrain and the speedy clearance at Bahrain International Airport by the immigration and customs officials.
