Emirates Airline has come up with attractive packages and generous excess baggage allowances for Dubai Shopping Festival 2009 (DSF 2009) buyers to haul their purchases home.

The annual DSF, renowned for its incredible shopping deals, headline-grabbing raffle draws and all-round family entertainment will be held from January 15 to February 15, infusing the entire city with a carnival-like atmosphere.

'As official airline for DSF, Emirates actively promotes the event across our global network to encourage travellers to come to Dubai during the DSF for a wonderful holiday experience,' said Keith Longstaff, Emirates’ divisional senior vice president - commercial operations worldwide. 

'Our DSF packages have always been very popular, and we believe that this year, Emirates’ packages will continue to attract customers seeking real value-for-money holiday deals.'

Emirates’ special DSF packages, valid for the duration of the festival, start from as little as $55 per person per night on a twin sharing basis and provide customers with a choice of accommodation from a range of 20 select properties.

The price includes breakfast, transfers between Dubai International Airport and the hotel by chauffeur-driven car, personalised meet-and-assist upon arrival, and 24-hour emergency assistance from Emirates Holidays. Airfare is not included.

Departure is facilitated with an additional 10 kg free baggage allowance on the return or onward flights from Dubai. Stopover charges are waived for onward-bound passengers.-TradeArabia News Service
