Air India cancels Kozhikode flights

Air India has announced the withdrawal of its twice weekly flight from Bahrain to Kozhikode (Calicut) and replaced it with flights to Thiruvananthapuram.

An airline spokesman said yesterday the Kozhikode flights, every Friday and Saturday, will now operate to Thiruvananthapuram, departing from Bahrain at 11.20 pm, starting January 23.

The two flights will be in addition to the already existing Thiruvananthapuram flight every Monday, which also departs at the same time.

The spokesman said the departure days of flights from Bahrain to Mangalore have also been changed with immediate effect to every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, from Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The departure timing has also changed to 2.10 pm.

The flights to Mumbai from Bahrain will operate at the new departure timings of 3.45 pm, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

"All passengers are requested to contact the Air India reservation office or their travel agents to make the necessary changes in their bookings," said the spokesman. - TradeArabia News Service
