The musical fountain located at Qanat Al Qasba, the first musical creative fountain in the region, is fast catching on as one of the must-sees of the region.

Residents and tourists alike have been captivated by the unique feature that combines water and light effects to create a fantastic show.

'The Al Qasba Fountain is the newest feature of the destination that boasts of the highest observatory wheel in the region, excellent dining out as well as a most conducive environment for families. The amazing play of waterworks where water jets leap up and dance in time to a fantastic and majestic symphony and light effects, and provide a memorable view from both ground level and a bird's eye view from the Eye of the Emirate's. The Fountain has added to the element of fun at the destination where children as well as adults enjoy a good splash among the jets of the fountain,' said business development manager at Qanat Al Qasba Development Authority Ahmed Al Qaseer.

The fountain that has been constructed and assembled by an international French company renowned for building spectacular creative fountains around the world, is the region's first. A group of hydraulic and computer engineers designed and created the right equipment for the site, and all equipment has been manufactured especially for this project.

The musical creative fountain has several shows daily. Show timing during weekdays are 6.30pm, 8pm, 9.30pm and 11pm and during the weekend at 5pm 6.30pm, 8pm, 9.30pm and11pm. - TradeArabia News Service
