Hansgrohe unveils first ceramics collection for region
DUBAI, November 16, 2023
Luxury German sanitaryware company Hansgrohe has launched its first inspirational and original collection of ceramics for the Middle East region - from its leading brand Axor - thus marking an important milestone for the company.
The launch was held at the 2023 MEA Stakeholder Conference organised by The Hospitality Network (THN) in Dubai.
An exclusive event, it was attended by over 500 decision makers, including hotel owners, developers, operators, and consultants, from across the Middle East & Africa hospitality industry.
Introducing ceramics to the region marks an important milestone for the company, which traditionally manufactures and distributes showers, faucets, and accessories, as holistic providers for bathroom interiors, said Hansgrohe in a statement.
From Hansgrohe, the launch of the Elupura toilet range and Xuniva washbasin collections reinforces its pioneering sustainability credentials, as the collection is constructed from natural and recyclable materials, while from the top European luxury bathroom brand, AXOR Suite washbasins are a collaboration with revered designer, Philippe Starck.
The Axor Suite models are exemplary of Starck's distinctive streamlined design simplicity, featuring an original combination of metal and solid surface in both rectangular and circular shapes.
For the first time, Axor and Hansgrohe showcased their extensive product lines of complete bathroom solutions in the Design Pavilion, hosted by Stellar Concepts, a dynamic collaborative showcase featuring leading interior product manufacturers like Marazzi Group and Trend Group and others.
In addition to the new ceramics collections, Axor also presented some if its most iconic collaborations with the world’s leading designers. They included Axor Shower Composition by Philippe Strack, Axor ONE Shower Set and Axor Citterio Rhombic and E collections by Antonio Citterio, amongst others.
The faucets, shower systems, drains and bathroom accessories collections displayed were chosen to highlight the wide range of styles, materials and finishes available from Axor, whose preoccupation with personalisation in the bathroom space continues to hold wide appeal with the leading hotels of the world.
Martial Gil, Vice President Sales MEA, CIS & LATAM for Hansgrohe, said: "The conference provided a great opportunity to unveil our new ceramics collection and was met with very positive feedback. We were also able to engage and converse with some of the leading stakeholders and influencers who are shaping the luxury hotel and hospitality market across Middle East."
"Keeping abreast of emerging trends and changing consumer behaviour is very important to us and platforms such as this are invaluable in providing insight and intelligence that helps shape our future innovations," stated Gil.
"Axor and hansgrohe are pioneering brands that not only design innovatively to produce highly distinctive collections, but we are consistent in considering the environment, with the aim being to conserve energy and water wherever possible, and that includes in the manufacturing process," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
