100 exhibitors for International Autumn Trade Fair
DUBAI, November 9, 2017
More than 100 exhibitors are expected to take part in upcoming International Autumn Trade Fair (IATF), a general consumer goods trade fair, in Dubai, UAE.
The 32nd edition of the event is organised by Al Fajer Information and Services and will be held from December 17 to 19 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).
The expo will feature an extensive array of products from home décor, lifestyle, clothing and textile, fashion accessories, cosmetics, kitchen appliances, kitchenware, plastic-ware, luggage, sports goods and more.
Attracting guests and exhibitors from a diverse retail community, including hypermarkets, chain retailers, spas and salons, distributors, E-tailers, importers and re-exporters, the fair is the only trade exhibition in the Mena region offering a comprehensive platform for the global consumer goods industry.
As per a report shared by the World Trade Organisation (WTO), global merchandise trade growth will continue to strengthen in the third and fourth quarter of 2017. The report indicated that global trade has expanded by 2.4 per cent in 2017 as compared to last year. In 2018, the organisation forecasts trade growth between 2.1 and 4 per cent.
“With the global economy improving, global trade has also witnessed a surge. Dubai in particular has seen a robust development,” said Satish Khanna, general manager of Al Fajer Information & Services.
“The city has long been acknowledged as the trading hub of the MENA region due to its excellent infrastructure facilities, cosmopolitan ambience with a multicultural demography and an unbeaten track record in making a success of everything. IATF this year will not only provide a global exposure for the local and international participating companies, but also bring exciting new elements to the fair,” he added.
“The Middle East and UAE in particular has seen considerable growth in imports and exports in the first three quarters of 2017. This is a clear indication that the companies in the country are benefitting from the stable recovery of the global economy. Looking at the exhibitor and visitor participation for the upcoming fair, we are optimistic that trade in the UAE will continue to witness an uptick,” added Rupashree Singh, exhibition manager.
Representing a global hub of unparalleled potential, IATF offers an opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their portfolio of products. Last year the fair attracted more than 4,000 visitors from across GCC and Asia. – TradeArabia News Service
