Cartier launches jewellery range in Dubai Mall
DUBAI, January 9, 2017
Lebanese singer, actress and entertainer Myriam Fares recently held a VIP styling session around the launch of Cartier’s LOVE Collection during Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) in Dubai, UAE.
Fares, a celebrity well known to Dubai audiences, was the special guest at Cartier’s Dubai Mall VIP Salon, where she gave styling tips on the French luxury fashion house’s LOVE Collection of rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets.
The pop star followed up the evening’s collection unveil by giving Cartier’s VIP clients her personal insight into ‘stacking’ – a styling method of combining jewellery shapes, colours and textures.
Following the event, she also held a ‘Meet-and-Greet’ session for fans at The Dubai Mall.
The LOVE Collection is one of the most iconic collections of French luxury goods company Cartier. A tribute to love and romance, the pieces are studded with diamonds and gold, and known for their screw motifs, ovals shapes, and simple elegance.
Saeed Mohammad Mesam Al Falasi, executive director, Retail and Strategic Alliances, DFRE, said: “We would like to thank our partners Cartier for holding this high-profile event that significantly adds to the global attraction of DSF. We are also grateful to Myriam Fares for sharing the styling secrets that have made her such a respected fashion icon. It is vital to the ongoing appeal of DSF that our high-profile partners hold their exclusive product launches during the festival, offering our visitors a range of unique shopping experiences.”
The LOVE Collection event was one of the numerous fashion and beauty highlights of the 34-day DSF extravaganza. DSF 2017 events and activations are run under three themed retail segments – Apparel & Fashion, Beauty & Perfume and Gold & Jewellery – that reflect the varied shopping experiences in store for residents and visitors, and also the important role played by DSF in Dubai’s retail sector.
DSF 2017, which runs until 28 January under the slogan ‘Shop. Win. Celebrate’, is organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism). – TradeArabia News Service
