$100m Dragon City opens in Bahrain

Up to 50,000 extra cars are predicted to enter Bahrain every day thanks to a landmark $100 million shopping centre that opened its doors yesterday (December 27), a report said.

Dragon City, at Diyar Al Muharraq, boasts more than 747 wholesale and commercial outlets showcasing a wide range of products, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, chairman of Diyar Al Muharraq, said: “Dragon City is set to be a substantial impetus that massively stimulates and contributes to the economy of the Kingdom internally as well by creating a considerable number of job opportunities, exponentially increasing the flow of business into the country and further highlighting Bahrain’s ever-increasing lucrative investment options, thus solidifying its status of being the most liberal, inviting and infrastructural resources laden business partner in the region.”
