Toshiba showcases latest innovations at Gitex Shopper

Toshiba Gulf is showcasing its latest innovations in computing and storage at the ongoing Gitex Autumn edition in Dubai, UAE.
Its latest line-up of convertible laptops are on display at the event. It include the Satellite L10W, Satellite L40W, Satellite S50W and the Portégé Z20t, which have been designed to address the specific needs of different groups of consumers, said a statement.
These models all have the computing power to multitask efficiently withouth compromising mobility, it said.
The newest storage models by Toshiba on display include Canvio Connect II that comes in different colours and is available with up to 3TB of storage; as well as the wireless models AeroMobile (128GB) and AeroCast (1TB) which boast the ability to stream files with up to eight different devices.
Santosh Varghese, general manager for Digital Products and Services, said: “The 25th Gitex is very timely for Toshiba, as we are also celebrating our 30th year in the notebook PC industry.
"Toshiba has now begun launching our latest convertible laptop models and innovative storage solutions, with additional surprises, that will surely excite consumers.”
Meanwhile, the firm's exclusive buy-back offer has returned this year. Shoppers can exchange their old PCs for discounts when buying a new Toshiba product. They can also get deals when upgrading their old operating systems, said the statement.
Additionally, shoppers get a chance to take part in Toshiba’s 'Play & Win' promotion, where any Gitex shopper is welcome play golf for free in order to win discount vouchers worth Dh50 ($132.4), Dh100, Dh150 or Dh200 instantly.
These vouchers can be redeemed when purchasing any Toshiba laptop. The detailed mechanics of the promo are available at the Toshiba stand.
For entertainment, the shoppers can enjoy live performances by local talents of the latest Toshiba song which has now become a popular online sensation. A performance will take place every hour throughout the entire week, said the statement.
As part of the demonstration of how the new Portégé Z20t works its magic, caricature artists will be present at the Toshiba stand, offering to draw portraits of shoppers for free, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
