HTC launches campaign to donate during Ramadan
DUBAI, June 29, 2015
HTC has launched the #HTCramadan, its Ramadan campaign that will give winners the opportunity to benefit Habitat for Humanity, an international charity organisation and win an HTC One M9.
From the start of Ramadan until Eid, HTC has invited social media users throughout the Middle East to share images and posts in English, Farsi or Arabic to illustrate one of the themes each week - family, time to pray, Ramadan in my city, and Eid celebrations, said a statement.
Each week brings a new theme for participants to engage with, thus giving them more chances to win, it said.
The competition will be conducted across social media platforms - Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
At the end of each week a winner will be announced based on their entries and they will walk away with an HTC One M9.
In addition, HTC will make a donation in the winner’s name to Habitat for Humanity.
Neeraj Seth, heard of marketing for HTC Meddle East and Asia, said: “Ramadan is a time for reflection, and at HTC we invite people from around the region to reflect on what makes Ramadan a special time for them. Our latest campaign, #HTCramadan, aims to bring communities together, and benefit those less fortunate than us.
“The campaign will be conducted in three languages, giving everyone in the region an opportunity to participate and win.” - TradeArabia News Service
