Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM launched in Bahrain

Microsoft Devices has launched its Lumia 540 Dual SIM smartphone in the Bahrain market today (June 7).
The device, which costs BD55.5 ($146) is also available in a BD60.5-version with a bundled offer that includes a selfie stick, flip phone cover, and exciting app offers which includes one month of free and unlimited access to movies and TV series on ICFLIX, and one month free premium membership on Gaana mobile app, a statement said.
The Lumia 540 Dual SIM which is capable of upgrading to Windows 10 when the service becomes available later this year, features the latest Windows Phone 8.1 innovations and boasts a 5-inch HD display and crafted design details.
It helps people stay productive on-the-go with Microsoft services like Skype, Office available out-of-the-box, up to 30 GB of free cloud storage via OneDrive and enables better mobile experiences, such as taking wide-angle selfies that fit in more of the action, said Vithesh Reddy, general manager - Lower Gulf, Microsoft Devices.

The Lumia 540 Dual SIM has a five-inch HD display, wide-angle, 5 megapixel front-facing camera and a rear-facing 8-megapixel camera with LED flash. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor featuring a quad-core CPU running at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of mass memory.
