Panasonic has launched an 85-inch LED TV with an intelligent design with full range of functions and offering 4K picture quality.

The latest LED TV VIERA TH85X940M is a top model, with the 4K ultra High-Definition and Studio Master Drive enhancing colours, picture quality and transforming the viewing experience, a statement said.

Shimpei Tsujigami, general manager, Audio Video Department, Digital Imaging, PMMAF, said: “Our new 85-inch TV provides life-like large-screen viewing experience in vivid 4K image quality. It is a Wi-Fi enabled smart TV with the finest feature providing accurate colour expression than ever before.

“It comes with four pairs of 3D eyewear (Active shutter 3D) and Touch Pad remote which makes the viewing experience more enjoyable. The impact, detail and magnificent experience that an 85 inch 4K image brings to a living room is truly impressive.”

The TV is equipped with Studio Master Drive for more accurate smooth gradation and highly detailed black expression even in very dark scenes which were previously not possible on LED TV. It works by adjusting the image in extremely fine brightness steps, using accurate colour expression at any brightness level.

Panasonic’s original high-performance image processing engine immaculately renders high intricate and detailed 4K images. In addition it achieves beautifully elegant 4K quality with precise noise reduction and motion image compensation from a variety of sources such as broadcasts, web content and others.

Newly developed LED backlight combines with Studio Master Colour technology achieves an expanded colour space which covers 98 per cent of the DCI standard. Higher purity and delicate hues are also attained. This wider colour space enables the reproduction of colours which are faithful to the original, and lets the viewer experience all the beauty.

A host of 4K online content to enjoy decoding 4K HEVC (H.265) data enables smooth streaming of 4K online content. Superb images from the growing amount of 4K online video can be played without a PC, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
