Eros Group, the official distributor of brands Samsung, Hitachi, TCL, Linksys and a leading player in consumer electronics, telecom, and allied multi-products in the Middle East, has moved into its headquarters in Al Barsha, Dubai, UAE.
Previously housed in Deira, the electronics giant will now be in a building owned by the Badri Group of Companies, said a statement.
Located in the heart of Dubai, the 12-storey building is equipped with six conference rooms, eight floors fitted with work stations including a dining area and a recreation room.
Deepak Babani, chief executive officer, said: “After eight years the Eros HO team has come together once again under one roof. We are pleased with this state-of-the-art office which is located in the new business area of Al Barsha.
“Our various stakeholders have also appreciated the place which is heartening as the new Building is a reflection of the hard work put in by 1500 team members of the Eros Group.”
Apart from its headquarters, Eros Group operates in three warehouses across Dubai: Jebel Ali Free Zone, Al Quoz and Dubai Industrial Zone and one each in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
These operations are supported by a service centre in Al Quoz along with seven others across the UAE to offer its customers the best after sale services and employs international standards of service and repair.
In addition to these, the group also runs its exclusive one of a kind ‘Service on Wheels’ – available for all across the UAE. This mobile workshop is operated by qualified engineers and ensures the customary high standard of service.
Niranjan Gidwani, deputy CEO, said: “We expect the new head office to provide improved synergies in our operations which should translate into better service to the consumer and our stakeholders. The shift was done during the key sales period with minimum impact on operations which is truly commendable.
“The building has been appropriately named Eros House and we are confident that in the coming years this will be the centre point in the consumer electronics business in the UAE.” - TradeArabia News Service
