Ecco, a Danish footwear and leather goods brand, recently unveiled its new premium concept store at the Dubai Mall.

The new Ecco store features the signature Scandinavian aesthetic of the house, using minimalist design in wood and stone finishing to capture the Nordic essence of the brand.

VIPs and members of the fashion and lifestyle press were invited to the opening ceremony, which featured an exclusive event to experience the new store as well as preview Ecco’s Fall/Winter 2014 collection.

Highlighting the importance of luxurious materials in the creation of each Ecco product, the affair also included a leather workshop where guests had the opportunity to make their own pouch from various finishes, textures and colours of the brand’s famed calfskin.

Ecco has 13 stores in the UAE which include The Dubai Mall, Mall of Emirates, Deira City Centre, Mirdif City Centre, Dubai Festival City, Dubai Marina Mall, Marina Mall Abu Dhabi, Dalma Mall Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Mall, World Trade Centre Abu Dhabi, Sahara Centre Sharjah and Bawadi Mall Al Ain. – TradeArabia News Service
