Samsung launches new wireless & NFC printer

Manama, April 24, 2014

Samsung Electronics has launched its most user-friendly multi-function printer, equipped with both Wi-Fi and Near Field Communication (NFC) technology.

The Multi-Function Xpress printer C1860FW helps consumers get the most out of their homes and offices with unparalleled connectivity and picture quality, a statement said.

The C1860FW directly connects to consumers’ computers, handhelds and cameras without hassle, without wires and without fuss via NFC and Wi-Fi connections. The C1860FW delivers professional-quality images, to boot, and its dual CPU (533MHz) produces fast, even printing at 18 pages per minute, according to the statement.

“Anyone who uses a printer at home or at work wants great looking images without having to worry about cables and connections,” said Manoj Ghai, head of IT Sales Group at Samsung Gulf Electronics.

“The great thing about our NFC-enabled printers is the flexibility that they offer to users. With these printers, people can print whenever they want, wherever they want—whether the document is on a cloud or in a camera. In our opinion, this kind of technology is more than just state-of-the-art, it is practical; it is valuable; and it rings true to our belief that people are behind every product that Samsung creates.”

The Samsung Multifunction Xpress C1860FW printer is currently available across leading retail outlets in the Bahrain for BD189 ($499). – TradeArabia News Service
