Samsung, UPB sign deal to supply AC systems
Amman, March 5, 2014
Samsung Electronics Levant has signed a deal with United Pioneering Business (UPB) to supply American Excellence School (AES) in Jordan with its latest air conditioning system launched in the region.
The DVM S System features Samsung’s ‘Full Inverter Compressor’ technology, in addition to smart controlling features that include auto commissioning and management (ACM), said a statement.
The ACM shortens the cooling time and provides automated real time management, allowing the users to review data reports, making its maintenance easier, less time consuming and saves money with its ability to connect with the system via wifi channels, it said.
The system internal and external units come in small design in comparison with other manufacturers, utilising a small space with higher performance, while providing different temperatures in different areas.
The American Excellence school is located in Dabouq area and occupies a 4,000 sq m area.
Jerry Kim, head of the air-conditioning unit at Samsung, said: “Signing such vital projects for Samsung in Jordan reflects the new system’s high quality offered by Samsung and indicates consumers’ confidence from the various sectors. Samsung DVM S system fulfills its consumers’ needs, while attaining high standards of energy conservation through the Full Inverter Compressor.” - TradeArabia News Service
