Lenovo today announced the latest additions to its ThinkPad portfolio in the UAE market.

The new device include the third generation ThinkPad X1 Carbon, the world’s lightest 14-inch Ultrabook  and the ThinkPad 8, a premium 8-inch tablet offering a full PC experience on the move.

Both devices will be available in the UAE by mid-February, said a statement.

“The new ThinkPad X1 Carbon is a natural evolution of our PC+ portfolio and a further step in fulfilling our promise to bring innovative personal machines to customers in the UAE,” said Dilip Bhatia, vice president of ThinkPad product marketing.

“With its unique premium design and innovative features, the new X1 Carbon is the best business class Ultrabook available on the market today, built from the ground up to suit both enterprise and personal needs.
