UK healthcare furniture manufacturer Sidhil is set to launch its new intelligent safety ward bed to the Middle East healthcare market at the upcoming Arab Health Exhibition in Dubai.

The new ‘Innov8 iQ’ hospital bed has been designed around optimising tissue viability, infection control and health and safety in terms of manual handling and falls prevention, said a statement.

The bed, which will be on display at the exhibition running from January 27 to 30, is suitable for a wide range of patient groups which reduces requirements for transfer from bed to bed.

One of the key risk reducing features of the bed is the low mattress platform height which prevents the risk of falls.

The bed also provides a tilt function with auto regression, achieving a ‘one touch’ full chair position for patient comfort, facilitating open airways, improved circulation, a good nutritional position and clear vision around the ward to enhance the patient environment.

Sidhil will also exhibit its updated Doherty 3 Section couch, ideal for GPs and those working in the acute care sector.
